Maxx Miller (born 1996), known professionally as CallMeHorror, is an American heavy metal and hardcore punk artist and songwriter from Las Cruces, New Mexico.Maxx grew up listening to Slipknot, Static X, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, etc. Attracted to this music, writing dark poetry and all his tragic experiences, he was inspired to start writing them as lyrics.In High School, he was a metal singer for bands. He always struggled with mental issues like many others and decided to put lyrics as a way to vent. Whenever he joined a band, they said his songs were too dark or depressing. He eventually gave up on joining a band.A few years later, he changed his style to Horrorcore rap like Brotha Lynch Hung & Twiztid. His music expresses what he thinks of, which usually expresses anger at those who have wronged him or someone he knows. His lyrics capture the thoughts, feelings, and emotions he goes through in his life.In 2021, he decided to go back to making the music he loved and is now creating metal and punk rock music to vent his problems and talk about mental illness and addiction.
